Shush...forget about Past...think present & future

I wrote an email to my friend Anil:

"Dear Anil:
Please I desperately need to buy back my past, as a professional and my friend (AND SOMEONE WHO ONLY KNOWS EVERYTHING ABOUT MY PAST) could you please HELP ME?

Somebody elase told me "YOU ARE NOT RICH ENOUGH TO BUY BACK YOUR PAST".... then there is another idea from my friend Anil. Don't you think he is very clear on the subject and writes to the point. Don't you find his point of view interesting? See he says "present and future" are more beautiful than the "past". Read on...

"My Dear Anil,

What is Past?

Why some one loves Past?

Because

Past was easy as we all have successfully done it, enjoyed it, suffered it, overcome it, availed it, seen it, achieved it, Irrespective of the degree of enjoyment, sufferings and achievements. We even do not clearly remember as if we have enjoyed it fully or it could have been further improved.

So

Past is not some thing to buy back. It is some thing which teaches us, makes us more experienced and capable of differentiating between good and bad, joy & sorrow, achievement or failure, A young person is happier and joyful as he has not much to compare, whatever he does is an achievement. For Example: “When I bought my first LPG gas connection and gas stove I was happier than when I bought 4000 Sq Ft of residential flat at J-1, Kailash Colony - Out of these two achievements the former gave me more happiness and sense of achievement”.

Now does this mean that I should buy another gas stove or should I see future?

Darling, I am not sure what makes you think that past was good and u want to buy back. Past is an examination, which you have already passed and have learnt some lessons out of it and now it looks easier. Whereas present is the examination for which u are undergoing preparation and working hard for it. May be it is looking difficult and the result is uncertain, But that was so in the past also, but we do not remember those difficult time.

Every body in this world is working for the present and future. Past is kept as memories, some good and some bad, some good people we miss, some good decisions taken in the past encourages us to take further decisions and some bad decisions scare us but we must believe in ourselves, we must take care of ourselves, we must think of our own welfare first, thereafter we must believe in our ideas, thoughts and then we must believe in our own people and who are our own people?

The answer is those people whom we have been able to convince about our ideas and thoughts, Lets all work under these thoughts and the present and future would be more beautiful than past. We both would live present and future, while sharing the memories and learning of past.
